Katie Muller
Drawing on experience as both a consultant and senior leader, I partner with mission-driven organizations to redesign how they support clients and teams — with a focus on equity, sustainability, and impact.
Before launching KN Consulting Co., I guided 20+ strategic planning projects, secured more than $30M in grant funding, and became Vice President at a regional consulting firm. I later served as Executive Director of Business Operations at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia Foundation, where I led operations during a period of rapid transformation – doubling the organization’s size, shifting to a remote-first model, implementing new technologies, and supporting a $1.2B capital campaign.
I began my career in community-based nonprofits across Latin America and Southeast Asia, including two years in the Peace Corps, an experience that has grounded my approach in curiosity, humility, and partnership. Colleagues and clients value my deep analytical thinking, authentic collaboration, and trust-building across differences.

Nicolette Epifani
I create spaces, systems, and structures that allow folks to connect with greater clarity and ease – to themselves, the people around them, and their work. As a co-founder of KN Consulting Co., this takes shape in helping mission-driven organizations make sense of where they are, get aligned on where they’re going, and build practical ways to move forward.
In my previous consulting work, I did this by helping organizations find the right people, resources, and approaches to advance their missions and deepen their impact – through executive recruiting, grant writing, and strategic planning. In my most recent role at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia Foundation as Associate Director of Foundation Culture, I led culture and organizational work during a period of rapid growth, designing and facilitating biannual, multi-day retreats for 200+ team members and leading organization-wide systems initiatives that strengthened communication, knowledge sharing, and collaboration.
I work at the intersection of systems and human experience, bringing attention to both how things function and how they feel. Across my career, a core thread runs throughout: I am committed to increasing the capacity of people and organizations working to create more equitable, sustainable, and connected communities.
